Mosquito Magnet Liberty and Professional - Reviewed
Ok, so you hate mosquitoes just like I do. You have seen the Mosquito Magnets that use Propane to attract mosquitoes and some how kill them. So, what is the deal with these things? Do they work? The answer is yes, but there are some things you will need to know before you run out and buy one of these things to end your mosquito problems forever.
Placement of the Mosquito Magnet
Ok, first of all, there is some work involved in finding the best location to place your Mosquito Magnet. Do not expect to simply put this in your yard, turn it on, and kill every mosquito within 4 miles. If you act unrealistic, then you are going to be disappointed. I think that most people you will read about on this page are unrealistic. You are probably going to need to test out a few different locations on your property to find the most effective place for the Magnet. This means you will need to set it up for 4 or 5 days in one place and see how well it works. Take wind and vegetation into consideration as the Magnet works by leaking out attractant that the mosquitoes will need to pick up on. Placing it in the middle of a field with high brush is not going to be very effective.
Mosquito Magnet Maintenance
There is going to be some maintenance that you, or someone else, will need to perform periodically. This includes about $20-$30 in products every month you use the Magnet and the time it will take you to replace them on the unit. You may also have to conduct some annual maintenance on the power head of the unit as well. To me, this is a small price to pay to put a dent in the mosquito population around my house.
Mosquito Magnet Reviews
Now that you know some of the caveats, here is what some people have said about their Mosquito Magnets. In my opinion, many of these people have and had unrealistic expectations of what the Mosquito Magnet would do for them.
